Australian Made's latest campaign calls on Aussies to support local producers and growers as the country begins to open up and prepare for the holiday season.
According to Ben Lazzaro, Chief Executive of Australian Made, the new Buy Australian Now campaign builds on those the organization has deployed over the past 12 months.
“The message 'Australians buy' has never been so well received by Australian consumers,” he says.
“Fortunately, the support of our local manufacturers and breeders continues to be the focus of many as we look beyond bans and restrictions. This campaign aims to help drive this pro-Australian dynamic. "
A multi-channel campaign
The “Buy Australian Now” initiative runs in October and November.
The multichannel marketing campaign includes TV, out-of-home, print, online and social media.
What's important, says Australian Made, is that the campaign's TV and radio commercials include the song "For Now" by local artist BATTS. Australian Made footage from the Australian Makers video series also has a strong presence throughout TV advertising.
"This campaign features Australian music and behind-the-scenes recording from the local factories, workshops and farms of some of the country's most innovative manufacturers," says Lazzaro. "These are the real companies, people, content creators, artisans and products that make up Australia's diverse and evolving manufacturing industry."
Mr Lazzaro says finding the iconic green and gold kangaroo logo has never been more important.
“Whether you shop in-store, online or in the local market, source supplies or source products for large projects, every dollar spent on locally made and grown produce directly affects the livelihood of Australian growers and manufacturers. , as well as the wider community, ”he says.
