Meet the brand new retail lockers and reels

Factors such as Covid, the need for greater sustainability and the growing demand for Australian-made products have led to an increase in innovation and product development.

Around this time last year, after bushfires broke out across Australia, our physical landscape had changed beyond recognition. Today is the turn of our retail landscape, which has changed in response to the threat of a raging pandemic, as companies responded, adapted, and evolved to survive.

The pandemic wasn't the only challenge driving change in the retail landscape. Other factors, including the need for greater sustainability and the growing demand for Australian-made products, have led to an increase in innovation and product development.

The result of all these changes was the emergence of what economists believe is a new normal. Grocery shoppers have adopted new habits, stores have adopted new practices, and retailers have introduced new products and equipment to meet the demand for safety, sustainability, and secure local supply.

In this store decor review, we take a look at some of these products and innovations, and hear from the people who work behind the scenes to provide retailers with solutions that are right for today's changing retail landscape.
