Califia Farms, a leading plant-based food and beverage company, announced that Dave Ritterbush has been named chief executive officer. Greg Steltenpohl, plant-based pioneer and company founder, will retire as CEO and remain on the board as Executive Director.
A veteran of the CPG industry, Ritterbush has a proven track record of leading and leading food and beverage brands to new heights, most recently as President and CEO of Quest Nutrition. He led the company in a $ 1 billion acquisition by The Simply Good Foods Co. last year. He also served as CEO of the better-for-you snack company Popchips and ran Premier Nutrition Corp., maker of Premier Protein and Power Bar Ritterbush was Vice President and General Manager of Red Bull North America and had a long tenure with Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream.

Steltenpohl founded the Odwalla Juice Company before founding Califia Farms in 2010. Under his leadership, the company grew rapidly and became a leader in premium plant-based beverages.
