SPAR Australia celebrated retail excellence with a virtual awards night on Tuesday October 26th.
When the virtual event opened, $ 448,000 was deposited into Store Development Funds of qualified retailers. SPAR Australia seeks to reward loyalty to its branded stores, and the Store Development Fund has grown to nearly $ 3 million since the SPAR Loyalty Rewards Program was launched nine years ago.
“This year we expanded our SPAR Better Together theme. At SPAR we make a difference – a difference for the consumer, a difference for the retailer and a difference for the Australian supermarket wholesaler. At SPAR we are all working better together to make a difference in the industry, ”said Lou Jardin, Managing Director of SPAR Australia.
“Over the past few years, the focus has been on our top five sales strategies that are value proposition, implement a focused assortment, clean up clutter, get merchandise ready for sale, and keep it clean and fresh.
"Implementing SPAR's key sales strategies is an essential part of achieving positive results and creating a value proposition for our customers in this extremely competitive retail environment," said Mr. Jardin.
“We continue to work to improve the network's performance, increase sales and strengthen bottom line for our retailers. It's about creating the perfect customer experience through store development, keeping up with the times and investing in our stores.
"SPAR's role in the independent retail landscape is critical as it provides retailers with choice and ensures competition in the industry," he added.
SPAR Australia's Retail Awards Program recognizes retailers who excel in their business. The “Store of the Year” awards were presented by Mr. Jardin and SPAR Retail Operations Manager Jeremy Keeffe.
In recognition of the retailers who have partnered with SPAR Australia to drive growth for businesses, SPAR congratulated retailers on their success:
