One-step cleaning and deodorization for disposal
One-step cleaning and deodorization for disposal
How one:
- Keep garbage disposal clean, free flowing, and odorless by filling the sink with 3 inches of warm water.
- Add a good handful or about 1 cup of baking soda.
- Turn on disposal and immediately pull out the drain plug. DO NOT pull out the sink plug before turning on the disposal.
- The vacuum created cleans the holes in the garbage disposal and refreshes the smell. Rinse off with a powerful stream of cold water to rinse off any leftover baking soda down the drain.
- You can do this when you notice odor or weekly.
Remarks:
This is safe and natural and does not damage pipes or disposal. The suction created by first turning on the disposal and then pulling the plug out of the sink creates sufficient suction to pull dirt through and through the drain.
