Fels Naptha Laundry Bar Soap has been around for about 100 years. Our grandmothers and great-grandmothers used it to wash all their laundry. You can buy it in large boxes and grocery stores in the laundromat. A bar will probably last you at least a year.

Fels Naptha Soap is a fantastic stain remover and pre-treatment.

It works especially well with oil stains. Simply rub the stain with a damp piece of Naptha Soap rock. Let it rest for a while and wash as usual

It is also great for baby clothes with formula stains.

For stubborn stains, use my Queen’s Power Paste: just dampen the garment, dampen the rock naptha soap, and work in the stain. Sprinkle with Twenty Mule Team Borax (check the detergent area) and work in. Approximately Leave on for 15 minutes and then wash as usual.

For cleaning white canvas tennis shoes. Wet the shoe with warm water, lather the Fels Naptha soap and apply it to the shoe with a soft brush. Rinse well and let dry in the sun.

Make a solution of 2 cups of warm water and 1/2 cup of white vinegar to remove old stains on colored clothing. Pour on the stain. Leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse well and work into Fels Naptha Soap. Wash as usual.

Clean your shower. Use a damp rock naptha bar along with a non-abrasive abrasive to clean your shower. Once you get it clean the first time, it’s easy to keep it up.

Though not a hand soap, it can remove grease, ink, or various other unpleasant stains from your hands. However, it is not safe to wash your hands regularly with this soap as it can irritate and dry the skin.
