Desk of Loads will get nostalgic with new rice desserts

Table of Plenty has launched 100s & 1000s Mini Rice Cakes, said to be tapping into Australia’s love for elevated childhood classics.

According to Table of Plenty, the new addition combines the “beloved” milk chocolate-topped rice cakes the brand is famous for, with rainbow sprinkles featuring all natural colours and flavouring.

Available in Woolworths stores nationally, the 100s & 1000s Mini Rice Cakes come in two pack sizes:

  • 102g “lunchbox-friendly” option including six ‘snack packs’ (RRP $7)
  • 200g family pack that’s “made to be shared” (RRP $10.50)

Each serving is promoted as delivering “wholesome wholegrain goodness” while staying gluten free, fructose friendly, vegetarian suitable and “surprisingly low” in calories.

“Aussies have such an emotional connection to 100s & 1000s – it’s pure childhood joy,” says Openway Food Co Marketing and Innovation Director Suzanne Morrison.

“We kept thinking, why should that magic be limited to white bread at birthday parties? This launch brings together that incredible nostalgia with the kind of quality ingredients today’s families are looking for.”

The new 100s & 1000s Mini Rice Cakes join Table of Plenty’s existing range of topped rice cakes.
