Allpress Espresso and artisan chocolate producer, Bahen & Co, have teamed up to create the “ultimate indulgent treat”.
They have combined the signature Allpress Espresso blend with Hacienda Victoria cacao from Ecuador to produce three artisanal lines of chocolate – Hazelnut Praline, Coffee Espresso and Café Latte – handcrafted in Margaret River, Western Australia.
Allpress Espresso Australia Brand Manager John Andrews says the synergy that exists between the two brands and mutual respect for single-origin sourcing and sustainability made it a smart partnership to produce an exclusive new product.
“We are thrilled to be working with passionate and like-minded people in Josh and Jacqui (Bahen) to create this incredible new product that showcases the very best of what Allpress Espresso and Bahen & Co offer,” he says.
Bahen & Co co-founder Josh Bahen says his brand had trialled several options before deciding to use its Hacienda Victoria cacao for the new coffee-inspired chocolate lines.
“We source directly from the origin and have built quality relationships with farms. Good people usually means good quality and flavour,” he says.
“The cacao blended beautifully with the coffee, and we’re stoked with the outcome. The Hazelnut Praline is my favourite – and a favourite among the team too.”
The chocolate has a RRP of $10.
