The Coca-Cola Australia Foundation invites environmental organizations to apply for a new grant that will focus on addressing the issue of water security in Australia.
Submissions are open from August 16 through September 3, with the successful organization receiving up to $ 600,000 over a three-year period.
Funds are provided to organizations working on water security in Australia and developing solutions for the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.
“The Coca-Cola Australia Foundation's mission is focused on creating a sustainable and bright future for all Australians and we look forward to supporting a new flagship partner to help them address the importance of water security in Australia “Says Coca-Cola Australia Foundation Board Chairman, Malcolm Hudson.
“The careful and efficient use of water is of paramount importance to the long-term sustainability of the communities in which we operate and the natural environment in which we live. Both Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Australia and Coca-Cola Australia share sustainability ambitions in terms of water stewardship and improving water security for everyone where it is most needed. "
The new grant is part of the flagship funding round of the Coca-Cola Australia Foundation and is offered in addition to the Employee Connected Grants program in 2021. A total of 29 Australian charities, nominated by employees of Coca-Cola Australia and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Australia, have received a share of $ 700,000 this year. This will bring the total funds donated by the Foundation's charity grant programs since 2002 to over $ 17 million.
