Sixty-eight former and current Olympians and Paralympists were revealed as the featured athletes on stickers of the Woolworths Aussie Heroes collectible. This is a celebration of this year's Australian team en route to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympic Games.
Starting this Wednesday, July 7th, for every $ 20 spent in-store or online, customers will be able to collect an Aussie Heroes sticker pack to add to their own Olympic and Paralympic scrapbooks.
Each sticker contains information about the athlete. This includes your date of birth and your achievements. The sticker even mentions the athlete's favorite fruit or vegetable to inspire kids to discover healthier foods from a young age to reach their full potential.
Andrew Hicks, Woolworths chief marketing officer, says that exercise and fresh food have a natural connection and bring Australians together.
"As the long-term fresh food partner of the Australian Olympic and Paralympic teams, our goal is to use this collectible to celebrate some of Australia's greatest athletes and future champions and inspire younger generations to live an active and healthy lifestyle," he says.
