AUSVEG appoints new CEO

AUSVEG has announced the appointment of Michael Coote as the new CEO with effect from July 1, 2021.

With a background in agriculture and government, Mr. Coote is a key member of the AUSVEG management team, which has held the role of AUSVEG National Manager – Export Development since 2014.

The industry association states that it has directed and changed the industry's export activities and strategies for the past seven years. It did so with a strong focus on building breeder skills and engaging the market to expand the industry's trading into high impact markets.

According to Bill Bulmer, Chairman of AUSVEG, the appointment of Mr. Coote as CEO is an exciting opportunity for the organization and a testament to the high level of leadership within the AUSVEG team.
