A company proudly recognized as the number one healthcare certified laundry company in the United States is re-certifying four laundries under the program. Angelica, one of the largest healthcare lingerie companies in the country, recently re-certified its Pomona, California. Somerville, Massachusetts; Dallas, Texas; and facilities in Houston, Texas as part of the Hygienically Clean Healthcare Certification Program. Angelica maintains this certification in all 21 facilities, resulting in the most hygienically clean and health certified laundries in the United States.
Hygienically Clean has been the quantified, validated standard and measure of hygienically clean textiles in North America since 2011, and achieving this certification reflects their commitment to laundry best management practices (BMPs), which has been confirmed by on-site inspection and their producibility hygienic clean textiles as quantified by ongoing microbial tests.
Angelica's locations are in Phoenix, AZ; Colton, Fresno, Orange, Pittsburg, Pomona, Sacramento, and San Fernando, CA; Holly Hill and Tampa, FL; Rockmart, GA; Chicago, IL; Somerville and Worcester, MA; Henderson, NV; Batavia, NY; Lorain, OH; Pawtucket, RI; Columbia, SC; and Dallas and Houston, TX.
The Hygienically Clean Healthcare certification confirms the organization's continued commitment to infection prevention. Compliance with recognized industry standards; and processing of healthcare textiles using BMPs as described in the Quality Assurance Documentation, a focus of the Hygienically Clean Inspector's Assessment. The independent third party inspection must also confirm material evidence that employees are properly trained and protected, managers understand legal requirements (including compliance with OSHA), and that the physical facility is operating effectively.
