National restaurant conference

June 28, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The National Restaurant Conference is an opportunity for you to hear from industry leaders and experts how you can improve your business. It's a full day of ideas, inspiration, and practical advice to improve your menu, marketing, staff, and bottom line. Come with me to keep up to date with new ideas and trends.

Conference tickets are $ 249 per person, including a two-course lunch and entry to Foodservice Australia, or just $ 129 per person for R & CA members before June 1.

The sweet spot

27.-29. June, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The latest trends in baked goods and desserts will be the focus in The Sweet Spot right at the entrance to Foodservice Australia. Hosted by Nerida Conway, this exhilarating demonstration stage features chocolate, confectionery, ice cream and pastry making with free hourly presentations for bakers, pies and chefs looking to sweeten their menu.

Café school

27.-29. June, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In the café school, café, sandwich bar, snack bar and delicatessen operators can learn how to make the most of the boom in the daily restaurant and takeaway sectors.

This year the café school offers coffee master classes, ideas for café menus and the latest trends in lunch and breakfast.

Visitors can also stay a step ahead of the taste curve with free demonstrations and seminars to help cafes and takeaways expand their menu and increase their bottom line. You can hear the speakers and try out the new products.

Plant base

The latest food trend taking over our social media feeds and plates starts at Foodservice Australia in 2021. Plant Base is a special function for companies that want to promote animal-free and vegan food alternatives. This exciting new pavilion was created to meet industry and consumer demand for this growing market.

Chef of the year

Who is Australia's Best Professional Chef?

In the “Chef of the Year” competition, the chef competes against the chef and the clock to test creativity, culinary knowledge and ingenuity.

The Chef of the Year competition offers chefs the opportunity to showcase their skills, promote their restaurants, network with other professionals, and win a share of $ 10,000 in cash and prizes.

Professional chefs from all over Australia participate in this annual competition. There are strict criteria and a team of culinary experts to judge the winner. It's the most prestigious and competitive professional cooking event in the country.

The competition will take place at Foodservice Australia in Melbourne in 2021. If you want to attend this exciting event, entries will close on June 1, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.

Pavilion for specialty producers

Aged Care Catering Summit

Boss success workshop

The Chef Success Workshop is a brand new program that will be unveiled at the Foodservice Australia Show next June.

It will be a half-day program run by chefs for chefs. Led by Venessa Barnes, this is an opportunity for young chefs to meet with like-minded people and learn from industry leaders.

Workshop tickets are $ 90 per person, including a two-course lunch and entry to Foodservice Australia. ($ 70 early bird discount, valid through May 27, 2021).
