With the introduction of a brand new chocolate block, Guylian is helping consumers stay in control of their servings.

Recent research shows that 67% of people prefer the portion control benefit of individually wrapped bars.

Guylian takes this preference seriously by introducing small, simply wrapped blocks of Belgian chocolate.

The new innovation comprises a range of four premium types of individually wrapped mini blocks (4 x 25 g) made from Belgian chocolate with 100% cocoa butter, available in creamy milk, Premium Dark 72%, Hazelnut and Premium Dark 72% with raspberry.

“Our research and development and marketing team has identified more premium, indulgence, more sustainable and healthier chocolate products as key trends in the chocolate category. We used this knowledge when developing our branding strategy in order to expand our Guylian brand every day, ”says Mieke Callebaut, Managing Director of Guylian.

Guylian supports both Project Seahorse and Project Cocoa.

The Seahorse project supports the conservation of the coastal marine communities.

The Cocoa project is committed to improving the lives of cocoa farmers, their productivity and their environmental impact.

The new individually wrapped Guylian bars enable a 75% reduction in the CO2 footprint per 100 g compared to standard aluminum foil packaging.

In addition, the new Guylian Belgian chocolate bars are made from 100% sustainable cocoa. This is Guylian's first step towards achieving his goal of using 100% sustainable cocoa by 2025.

The Guylian team adds that 99% of their products are palm oil free.

Because the bars are individually wrapped, the chocolate is kept fresh and convenient.
