Financial guidelines how ILE delivers for Nottingham Metropolis Hospital

United Kingdom
Industrial Laundry Equipment (ILE) was launched to provide a cost-effective solution at Nottingham City Hospital that needed more washing machine extractors within a set budget to meet the increasing demand for the current situation in Covid-19.

ILE and NCH considered several options in discussions that lasted late into the night and a preliminary plan was drawn up. After a confirmation call at 7:30 a.m. the next day, ILE put things into action and delivered three 54 kg ILE machines from its savings area within three hours of the decision.

Richard Brown, owner and managing director of ILE, told LCN: “We also gave a bargain price to help the NHS fight this virus. With a large amount of shares due, we decided that the profit was less important than our contribution. Maurice Brown, Engineering Operations Manager, and the NCH Estates team worked wonders to complete the site, while Derek Smith, owner of D Smith Machine Movements, took action to collect, deliver, and position.

Michael Clegg, Facility Manager at NCH – Logistics and Patient Movement, was also very committed when he urged the decision to save the NHS money quickly and ensure that it was delivered before the holiday weekend!

ILE offers a comprehensive range of devices in both the premium and economy areas to meet all needs. The range includes static and tiltable washers from 10 kg to 120 kg, which offer both a high-quality premium and an economy range, shut-off washers, tumble dryers and towel racks to bag systems as well as complete tunnel and ironing lines.
