Disruptor Oxwash "proud and embarrassed" when beginning the app

United Kingdom

Oxwash, the laundry and dry cleaning startup set to disrupt traditional industries and attract the custom of millennials, both consumers and businesses, announced today that it has launched two new apps, the ones on the Apple App Store and are available in the Google Play Store.

Oxwash serves both consumers and businesses who previously could only order through the Oxwash website or over the phone. The new app offers their customers an order process as Oxwash continues to invest in improving the customer experience through its proprietary technology.

Kyle Grant, CEO and Co-Founder, said, "I'm incredibly proud and embarrassed that we grew to where we are today without an app!" It is a testament to our service that people know quality when they see it, rather than just browsing through a wide variety of laundry applications on the market. Still, I'm really excited to see our new apps out in the wild and help everyone enable responsible laundry and dry cleaning. "

After Oxwash launched its third lagoon in London in October after a successful summer opening in Cambridge and a pilot project in Oxford, the company now hopes to further expand its reach through the app. Customers can download for free and are easy to use. You can book pick-up and delivery locations and place your orders with just a few taps. This makes the customer experience "smooth" and makes laundry easier and more sustainable than ever before.

Oxwash is part of Founders Factory's Accelerator Program and Kyle Grant was recently selected as a Forbes Europe 30 under 30. Oxwash is an Oxford University Foundry LEV8 program alumni in the 2018/19 cohort and has notable senior advisors including Biz Stone (Twitter). , Paul Forster (Indeed.com) and Ben Legg (Google).
