Coles and the Heart Foundation have teamed up to encourage Aussies to eat healthily and feel better with the launch of the Coles Health Hub.
Poll results provided through YouGov Galaxy Poll show that 89% of Aussies want healthier diets, but a quarter admitted they never or rarely did exercise. In addition, people spend an average of almost four hours using devices outside of their daily work requirements.
Coles Health Hub is an online hub that provides regularly updated information on exercise, nutrition, mental health management, and social and community support.
The hub also offers heart-healthy recipes from the Heart Foundation.
"Caring for our health and happiness has never been more important," said Kate Bailey, general manager, media and sponsorship at Coles.
"At Coles, we have taken significant steps to expand our health offering by increasing our focus on fresh foods, eliminating artificial colors and flavors, and introducing new affordable solutions for healthy meals and product lines such as Wellness Road."
Ms. Bailey adds that Coles has chosen to partner with the Heart Foundation because of their expertise in diet and exercise advice and information.
The Heart Foundation Groups, CEO Adjunct Professor John Kelly, says, “Australians are looking for engaging yet simple ways to improve their health in everyday life.
"With heart-healthy recipe ideas, exercise tips and information, we can help more Australians reduce their risk of heart disease and live longer."
Ad / Prof. Kelly emphasizes that Coles is in a unique position to leverage his customer interactions to drive change.
"We share the goal of putting people's health and wellbeing at the center of everything we do."
