With the introduction of Amazon Flex in Brisbane, Amazon Australia is creating new job opportunities and accelerating shipments.
Originally launched in January, Amazon Flex has more than a thousand delivery partners who make extra money by delivering packages to Amazon customers in Sydney and Melbourne.
With the Amazon Flex app, interested delivery partners in Brisbane who have their own car can register, select delivery blocks that suit their schedule, and deliver packages.
"We're excited to offer hundreds of flexible ways to earn money to people in Brisbane when they need them most than ever," said Craig Fuller, director of operations, Amazon Australia.
"With more control over when they work, Amazon Flex delivery partners can balance this new normal with securing additional revenue."
Mr. Fuller continues that Amazon Flex in Brisbane enables the company to respond to spikes in customer demand and provide Brisbane customers with more options to deliver packages.
“Our role in supporting the community during this time is important, and we are committed to ensuring people get the things they need, when they need them,” Fuller says.
