During the pandemic and lockout, I didn't want to go to the grocery store every week, so I used my FoodSaver ™ more often to wrap food that I wanted to freeze. I've had it for a long time, but I've really trained it in the past few months.
With FoodSaver, you can safely store food in the freezer without compromising the quality and taste of the food, or causing freezer burn and ice crystals.
What can you insert in the FoodSaver? Anything that is not crushed during air extraction is extracted. I even freeze cupcakes, muffins, and similar foods one at a time, then group them after a meal in the food saver. They will take months in the freezer. Cheese can be stored safely and many other things.
You can take advantage of grocery sales and don't worry that meat and other things you bought will be ruined in the freezer. It saves money and is easy.
FoodSaver ™ keeps food in the freezer fresh for up to 5 times longer than traditional storage methods, so you can save money. Other methods capture air and affect the nutritional value, taste and overall quality of the food. However, the FoodSaver vacuum system removes most of the air from the sealed container, thereby extending the life of food.
It is easy to use. Choose the size of the bag you need. Cut it and seal the bottom. Put the food in and seal the bag. It sucks in the air for a tight seal and closes the bag. Label it and go to the freezer.
It's an easy process, and I've used meat that's been lost in the bottom of the freezer more than a year after being sealed. It was perfect.
