Officeworks launches quick supply through Uber Eats this Christmas

Officeworks has expanded its delivery options, with thousands of products now available for fast delivery through Uber Eats. The service offers customers a convenient way to access Officeworks essentials, from last-minute Kris Kringle gifts and tech or gaming items to stocking fillers and everyday essentials.

The partnership brings together two brands focused on solving everyday customer needs, responding to the growing demand for same-day convenience.

“More Australians are choosing rapid delivery as expectations for fast, simple and flexible shopping continue to rise,” the retailer said.

“Officeworks customer insights show convenience is a key driver of choice, with a national survey identifying it as the number one reason customers shop with the retailer – reinforced by strong growth in Click & Collect and increasing demand for faster fulfilment options.”

Key features of the Uber Eats x Officeworks partnership include:

  • Thousands of eligible and popular products are now available for fast delivery via the Uber Eats app, including Christmas favourites such as wrapping paper, gifts and stocking fillers, as well as tech essentials like AirPods, speakers, laptops and Nintendo – plus everyday essentials.
  • Order by 5pm on Christmas Eve meaning shoppers can secure forgotten gifts and must-have items even as Santa is loading the sleigh.
  • Fast delivery within the hour in most metro areas, helping you save time, skip the crowds, and avoid the stress.
  • Great value without leaving home, products available through the Uber Eats app are priced the same as in store at Officeworks. Backed by Officeworks’ commitment to everyday low prices, customers can shop with confidence knowing they’re getting a great quality and value, delivered when they need it most.

Officeworks Managing Director John Gualtieri said, “With the Christmas countdown underway, convenience and value are front of mind for many Australians. Our partnership with Uber Eats offers customers a simple way to access gifts, technology, craft supplies and everyday essentials, delivered directly to their door.”

Uber Eats APAC Regional General Manager of Retail Lucas Groeneveld said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Officeworks to the Uber Eats app, especially during the busiest shopping season of the year.

From gifts and electronics to office supplies and creative essentials, Officeworks brings an impressive range at competitive prices. With the same in-store pricing available through Uber Eats, Aussies can now access almost anything at exceptional value and convenience, all delivered on demand without leaving home.”

Officeworks recently launched the partnership across 20 stores as a test-and-learn initiative, with strong customer uptake quickly reinforcing the growing importance of convenience. Following the successful trial, Officeworks has rolled out the partnership nationally just in time for Christmas, responding to clear customer demand for fast, easy ways to shop during the busy festive season.

Customer behaviour during the trial also highlighted just how broad the need for convenience has become, with some of Officeworks’ most-shopped items via the partnership spanning everyday essentials, creativity and organisation.
