ALDI and Hawke’s Brewing Co. serve up new beer

ALDI Australia has teamed up with Hawke’s Brewing Co. to launch an exclusive, limited-edition XPA, the Hawke’s TROPICALDI XPA.

The drop marks Hawke’s first supermarket collaboration and is promoted as making it “easier and more affordable than ever for Aussies to enjoy an exceptional craft beer experience at home”.

Available at ALDI from tomorrow (26 November), the TROPICALDI is “bursting” with aromas of pear, orange and stone fruit, finishing with a “refreshing, easy-drinking crispness”. They are “easy to drink and easy on the wallet”, with a six-pack costing $13.99.

ALDI Buying Director Dan Warner says the retailer loves what Hawke’s Brewing Co. is about – good, honest, quality beers.

“Bringing their award-winning craft brew to our shoppers at ALDI’s beloved, Good Different prices means customers can enjoy the best of both worlds – a high quality XPA at just $2.33 a can,” he says.

“Until now, Hawke’s XPA has only been available on tap. Now exclusively in cans only at ALDI, the TROPICALDI goes to show that ALDI is the ultimate destination for great summertime drinks at unbeatable value.”

Hawke’s Brewing Co. co-founder Nathan Lennon says like ALDI, the beer company is all about proving that good quality doesn’t need a premium price tag.

“That’s why we’ve made one of our own award-winning brews even more accessible,” he says.

“Hawke’s TROPICALDI XPA is the best of what we do, paired with the best of what ALDI stands for, delivering a beer you can take home without needing to take out a second mortgage on your home.”
