Woolworths celebrates September birthdays

With some of Australia’s most common birthdays falling in September, Woolworths is celebrating with its exclusive bakery range.

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, 17 September is Australia’s most common birthday, followed by 23 September in third place and 24 September in fourth.

To celebrate, Woolworths points to the following cake options:

  • Woolworths Carrot Cake Cheesecake. The new cake combines the “spiced richness” of carrot cake with the “creamy smoothness” of cheesecake, all hand finished with cream cheese frosting and crunchy walnuts.
  • Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake. Woolworths’ most popular cheesecake flavour is promoted as “rich and creamy” in texture, infused with a “distinctive” caramelised flavour and paired with a crumbly biscuit base.
  • Woolworths Smash Cake. The “perfect” birthday “showstopper” features layers of “fluffy” chocolate sponge and “rich” buttercream, filled with hidden sweet treats and topped with a “smooth” chocolate dome.

“With September being a popular month for birthdays in Australia, we know that our customers are looking for variety and options in the cakes they are eating to celebrate loved ones, and we’re proud to offer a range of exceptional desserts that are perfect for celebrating days of birth,” says Woolworths Bakery Merchandise Manager Donald Keith.

“From our interactive Smash Cake, with hidden treats, to our limited-edition indulgent Carrot Cake Cheesecake and popular flavourful Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake, each cake has a different experience and flavour for the excess birthdays you might be celebrating in September.”
