Early bird tickets are now on sale for this year’s Food South Australia Food and Beverage Summit.
The State’s only food and beverage industry-specific conference, the 2023 Summit will be held on Wednesday, 21 June at Adelaide Oval and is expected to attract attendees from across the country to hear from a stellar line up of local, national and international speakers.
With this year’s theme ‘The Future is Now’, the program will cover latest industry trends and innovations, consumer attitudes and behaviours, emerging technologies, the latest in product development, packaging targets, industry challenges and opportunities, as well as global trade and market updates.
Food South Australia CEO Catherine Sayer says the 2023 program was “carefully crafted to provide attendees with both essential updates and practical topics”.
“We’ve selected speakers who will not only provide an oversight on where the industry is heading, but also actionable insights and expert advice that businesses can use to grow their capability into the future,” she said.
“It will also bring our industry together in the ideal environment to foster collaboration and connections across business, stakeholders, educators and policy makers.”
The 2023 summit is supported by the Government of South Australia through the Department for Industry, Innovation and Science.
The Hon. Dr Susan Close MP, Deputy Premier of South Australia and Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science says, “The Malinauskas Government is proud to support Food SA’s annual food and beverage summit because of the vital importance of this industry to our state’s economy – it continues to be one of the state’s leading innovators in a constantly changing market.”
“The annual summit is a great way for the entire industry to keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices impacting their businesses, including how to respond to the shift to a circular economy. It also provides a unique opportunity for the South Australian food and beverage industry to come together and discuss the trends and challenges facing them in the coming years.”
Keynote speaker and futurist Warren Hogan.
The Summit will be headlined by keynote speaker and futurist Warren Hogan, Managing Director EQ Economics and Chief Economic Advisor to Judo Bank, and in addition, special guest speaker Professor Göran Roos, internationally renowned innovator and strategist, will be presenting on the circular economy and global innovation trends. The full program of speakers can be found here.
The full-day program will run from 9am to 5pm, followed by networking in the Ian McLachlan Room. While tickets are open to all with an interest relating to the SA Food and Beverage industry, the program has been designed for food and beverage manufacturers, growers, service providers and policy makers.
