The Honey Gold Mango is getting a makeover

The honey gold specialty produced by Piñata Farms is given a shiny new look.

According to Rebecca Scurr, sales and marketing director, the refreshment stickers for fruit and an updated mango carton for retail display launched in packing houses across Australia have revitalized the brand and improved its premium positioning.

"A bright green piñata sticker is synonymous with honey golds," says Ms. Scurr.

"The fresh, vibrant look maintains brand awareness and helps Honey Golds stand out in mango displays."

The Refresh brand also extends to piñata pineapples, which are now on the shelves with a new label, and strawberries, which are coming in an updated basket next winter.

"We've also updated our workwear, including forest green polo shirts for customer staff and updated yellow and orange warning shirts for farm workers."

The brand update also includes retail cardboard packaging with a white background overlaid with stylized mango elements in orange and green.

Piñata Farms has now completed harvesting mangoes as its own farms in Darwin, Katherine and Mataranka in the Northern Territory.

Honey Gold Mangoes are available in leading domestic supermarkets through March.
