Woolworths has launched a new limited-edition Hot Roast Chicken flavour, Smokey BBQ.
Seasoned with garlic, paprika and cayenne pepper, and stuffed with a smokey BBQ-flavoured stuffing, the chicken is promoted as a twist on the much-loved item.
“Our Woolies hot roast chook has been an Aussie family favourite since we first brought it into stores in 1960,” says Woolworths Hot Roast Chicken Manager Isabella Di Moia.
“They say variety is the spice of life, and our customers love it when we bring fresh flavours into the store. This latest limited-edition chook, brings a tasty smokey spin on a classic.”
Every year, Woolworths sells around 20 million roast chickens, including the traditional Hot Roast Chicken along with limited-edition flavours. Some of the most recent flavours include Zeus Street Greek, Garlic Bread and BBQ Memphis.
The Smokey BBQ Hot Roast Chicken will be landing in stores next week on 25 March, available for $14.
