Potato Utopia dishes up new gratin flavours

Potato Utopia has expanded its frozen gratin range with the launch of two new flavours, Mozzarella Hot Honey and Parmesan & Black Pepper.

Available nationwide at Woolworths, the two new additions invite shoppers to rethink the role of the side dish, according to the brand, delivering flavours worthy of being the hero at the dinner table.

“Australia consumes more gratins than any other country in the world, yet awareness of what it actually is, remains low,” says Potato Utopia.

“For those who do know, it’s the layers of thinly sliced potato with cream and cheese, bursting with flavour and baked until golden on top that make it irresistible, every single time.

“With over four million retail packs sold annually and growing, Potato Utopia are at the forefront of accessible, easy and delicious grocery gratin.”

The new Mozzarella Hot Honey flavour sees “sweet heat” meet “serious comfort”. Layers of potato and cream melt into “gooey” mozzarella, finished with a “touch” of hot honey.

On the other hand, the Parmesan & Black Pepper flavour is described as being “bold, savoury and beautifully balanced”. Thinly sliced potatoes are layered with cream, nutty Parmesan and cracked black pepper.

Made using purpose-grown potatoes selected specifically for “gratin performance” through an exclusive Belgian supply chain, Potato Utopia’s gratins are promoted as being “carefully crafted for consistency and quality”.

“Grown in soil and climate conditions that produce full-flavour varieties not available in Australia, the potatoes deliver a naturally creamier texture and richer flavour without relying on excessive fats or flavour enhancers,” says the brand.

Potato Utopia’s new flavours are available in packs of four ($7.50) at Woolworths.
