Viking Imports has relaunched the popular Sourdough Rye Crispbread from Finland Fazer Crisp with a fresh new look and two new flavours to boot. The “crispiest crisps” have been designed to make toppings pop with a signature crunch and traditional, hearty Nordic taste.
“Fazer Crisp is the not-so-secret ingredient for an easy meal, a quick snack or an elevated grazing platter,” said Viking Imports Managing Director Ivan Markovic.
He says the rebrand is a great way to show more people how diverse the humble crisps can be, whilst celebrating high quality produce direct from Finland.
“What our customers love most about Fazer Crisp is how they are the perfect vessel for any combination. From smoked salmon, dill and cream cheese through to Roquefort crème, pear and pomegranate, we have seen some serious kitchen creativity since 2008. It’s even perfect with a touch of butter and fine sea salt,” he said.
“We’re listening to our customers’ preferences and taking a more health-conscious approach to our product. They’re high in fibre and protein, but low in carbs: a winning combo in the ‘health kick’ era we are in.”
The new Fazer Crisp products retail for $4.99-$5.49 and are available in four varieties:
- Rye – a Nordic flavour said to embody the frigid water and salt of Finland.
- Dark Rye – bolder, darker and sweeter than the original.
- Rye & Rosemary – adding fragrance and freshness to the earthy rye.
- Rye & Roasted Pepper – with creamy and savoury notes.
