Shine Drink has appointed Jonny Harrison as its new CEO, replacing co-founder Steve Chapman.
Mr Harrison is described as a “highly regarded” executive leader and advisor in the beverages and liquor industries, with over 21 years of experience in commercial leadership and senior roles.
Dr Sam Prince, Shine’s co-founder alongside Mr Chapman, says he’s incredibly excited about Mr Harrison’s appointment.
“Jonny’s deep-rooted expertise in the beverage industry and proven track record of leading teams to resounding commercial success will undoubtedly propel Shine through its next chapter of growth,” he says.
Mr Harrison’s professional background includes 18 months as a senior executive for Australia’s “largest” membership-owned independent liquor retailer, Liquor Marketing Group.
Prior to that, he worked for Lion for nine years in various senior commercial roles and at PwC for 10 years in both the UK and Sydney.
Mr Harrison also served on the board of directors for Remedy Drinks from 2019 to 2021.
Mr Harrison says he’s excited to join Shine as the brand continues to expand and reach a wider audience.
“I firmly believe in the tremendous future growth potential of this trailblazing and inventive beverage brand that has established its own unique presence within the energy drinks market and beyond,” he says.
