Cadbury has teamed up with Michelin-starred chef, Curtis Stone, for a special-edition Cadbury Dairy Milk block.
Exclusive to Coles, Cadbury Dairy Milk Curtis Stone’s Caramel Slice is promoted as an Australian-inspired treat with a chocolate twist.
“Each bite,” says Cadbury, “is layered with smooth flowing caramel, vanilla flavoured crème and biscuit pieces, creating the nostalgic taste of a homemade caramel slice”.
Speaking of how the flavour combination came to life, Mr Stone says: “I chose this recipe because it brings back really fond memories for me being a little boy, cooking with my mum, and now making magical memories cooking this Aussie favourite with my own kids at home.
“So, I’m really excited to be launching the Cadbury Dairy Milk Curtis Stone’s Caramel Slice block at Coles which has been locally produced in the Cadbury chocolate factory in Tasmania. I was very excited to be there to see the first production of this delicious block of chocolate that Aussies are going to absolutely love.”
Cadbury Vice President of Marketing Paul Chatfield says with the brand celebrating 100 years in Australia, it wanted to commemorate the milestone with a bang.
“We’re delighted to continue our incredible relationship with Coles and exclusively offer the special-edition block to the Australian retailer for their customers to experience,” he says. “Together, we’ve created an iconic flavour that Australians will get excited about. Aussies love Cadbury, Curtis and caramel slice so it’s sure to be a recipe for success.”
The 165g Cadbury Dairy Milk Curtis Stone’s Caramel Slice block is now available exclusively in Coles supermarkets nationally, retailing for $5.
