Hey Tiger, the premium chocolate brand owned, imagined and created in Australia has a new home at Soulfresh.
The much-loved brand returns to shelves this month with its unique packaging and a revival of its ongoing commitment to making real change to the cocoa industry and women and children living in poverty.
Established in 2017, Hey Tiger was founded with the ethos of creating a different kind of chocolate offering: with a unique sense of fashion-meets-humour and with a single-minded mission to create a better chocolate experience for everyone.
Hey Tiger also set out to bring change and to do-good by the cocoa industry, partnering with The Hunger Project to ensure the supply chain is fair and ethical, whilst supporting some of the world’s most vulnerable people. The brand works closely with suppliers to ensure there is no mistreatment of workers or forced labour.
Two percent of each Hey Tiger block sold is given to The Hunger Project and will go towards ‘women’s empowerment’ and ‘entrepreneurship and social development.’ This means every block is helping to create a more equitable global landscape – bringing to life the brand’s do-good mission.
Soulfresh founder and CEO Didi Lo says, “We have always looked up to Hey Tiger for its commitment to creating positive change and being a trailblazer of the industry. At Soulfresh our mission is rooted in doing-good, it’s part of our DNA and it is one that we will always remain committed to, so we are thrilled to carry on Hey Tiger’s mission of creating downright delicious chocolate all whilst challenging the broken cacao industry model.”
