Golden Circle encourages Aussies to smile

The Golden Circle brings "sunshine" this summer with the introduction of the SmilePay machine.

The device was developed by the creative agency 72andSunny and the software development company Enabled 2 GO Technologies and uses smile recognition software to recognize an "Aussie smile". In return, they'll give out a free Golden Circle fruit drink popper.

The machine is located in the Pacific Fair Shopping Center on the Gold Coast, Queensland. Locals are invited to experience itechnology and choose the Golden Circle to share their SmilePay moment on the brand's social channels (and have the chance to win Golden Circle drinks for a year).

Kraft Heinz Brands Manager Beverages Meneka Ratnasothy says after last year that the Golden Circle wanted to bring joy and a splash of sunshine to our sunny summer days.

"What could be better than making Aussies smile for a chance to win ice-cold Golden Circle drinks," she says.

“Our first SmilePay pop-up at the Pacific Fair was giving out hundreds of free Golden Circle Golden Pash Poppers to smiling Gold Coast locals. We encourage everyone to go downstairs, take part in the action and donate with Golden Circle Sun. "

SmilePay is advertised through a targeted social campaign. Golden Circle is also asking the Aussies to let them know where the SmilePay machine pop-up should go next.
