PepsiCo appoints new CEO for Australia and New Zealand

PepsiCo announced the appointment of Kyle Faulconer as Chief Executive Officer for Australia and New Zealand. Mr. Faulconer will officially join PepsiCo ANZ in January 2022.

Mr. Faulconer will be relocating from his native USA to Sydney, where he is currently Vice President and General Manager of PepsiCo's Frito-Lay snacks business, responsible for leading the strategic agenda of Walmart, one of PepsiCo's largest global customers.

Wern-Yuen Tan, CEO of PepsiCo APAC, says Mr. Faulconer's deep customer experience, strong track record in driving long-term growth in competitive markets, and employee-centric leadership approach will be a significant asset to the local team.

“Kyle brings a wealth of experience successfully navigating complex and competitive markets, and has a deep understanding of our business and our goal. We are excited to welcome Kyle to ANZ and know that he will take the team to new heights, ”said Mr. Tan.

During his 14 years at PepsiCo, Mr. Faulconer held a variety of roles and responsibilities in field sales, strategic customer leadership and direct sales strategy.

In his new role as CEO, Mr. Faulconer will focus on driving innovation and continued growth across the PepsiCo portfolio of beverages and snacks while strengthening the purpose of the marketplace and people-led business processes.
