Get the most out of your garden by planting vertically, that's how it works!
Do you have little space in the garden or do you want to get a little creative? Vertical planters are all the rage these days as most homeowners have limited space in their gardens. Even if you live in an apartment, you can create your own garden on your balcony with vertical garden pots. These planters are the perfect way to grow up instead of growing them, and we're not talking about planting flowers here. Vertical gardens can be used to plant a variety of vegetables so you and your family can enjoy fresh, organic produce straight from your garden!
Take a look at some of the photos of the vertical garden tower, you will be surprised how much food you can produce in one container!
There are a few different types of vertical garden planters on the market these days, but one of my favorites is the rotating garden tower which shockingly can grow up to 50 plants in just 4 square feet. So you can create your own vegetable garden on your balcony even if you live in the city! Imagine waking up in the morning and picking your own fresh strawberries from your own garden – pure bliss! The rotating garden tower also helps with composting as you can put kitchen waste in the tower. Then the vertical garden tower system will recreate a natural ecosystem that allows plants to access nutrients that are recycled through the organic composting process. This means you can use your kitchen waste to feed your garden and create more food!
Another great option with the vertical garden tower is that it can be rotated. That said, if you don't have enough space on your balcony and need to put the tower in a corner, you can simply rotate it to access plants in the back. This makes it so much easier to plant, grow, and pick your vegetables!
Vertical garden towers are super easy to assemble, use and maintain. You can grow anything from flowers to your favorite herbs to vegetables. Depending on how much space you have on your balcony, you can easily place multiple vertical garden towers to grow a variety of vegetables and herbs. Some of my favorite balcony growing foods are cherry tomatoes, strawberries, beans, carrots, cucumbers, miniature eggplants, garlic, onions, and peppers (the compact varieties). Whatever you want to grow, growing it in a vertical garden container is super easy, fun, and a wonderful hobby.
