Cartography proclaims two new appointments

Cartology, the Woolworths Group's retail media business, has expanded its team to better serve growing customer demands.

Cartology's Martin Wood has been promoted to Head of Strategic Partnerships and Matt Gower has joined the company as Senior Manager of Research and Insights.

As Head of Strategic Partnerships, Mr. Wood will lead a new team dedicated to serving the largest FMCG clients in the retail media business and seeking to further streamline their multiple touchpoints across brands and categories.

"Mr. Wood's team will offer an account management tailored to the individual needs of the customer and advocate a knowledge-based partnership model."

Mr. Wood joined Cartology in 2020 overseeing the implementation and administration of his Digital Screen Network in the Woolworths Group branches. Mr. Wood reports to Nancy Veart, Cartology Head of Client Partnerships and Sales.

As Senior Manager of Research and Insights at Cartology, Matt Gower will help strengthen the company's insight-driven approach to campaign strategy, implementation, and evaluation.

"His focus on identifying the right insights to drive campaigns that better serve customers and brands will further enhance the highly informed strategic advice that Cartology offers its customers."

Mr. Gower reports to Jodie Koning, Cartology Head of Marketing and Insights.
