Metcash celebrates the annual Provider of the Yr Awards

Metcash has announced its 2020 supplier winners, with suppliers receiving awards in 19 categories presented at the prestigious event.

The awards were presented on May 20th at The Star in Sydney and hosted by Australian Olympic swimmer and television presenter Giaan Rooney. The annual event provides Metcash with an opportunity to recognize and thank its valued suppliers for their contributions and continued support to the independent retail network.

In addition to celebrating the achievements of the suppliers, Metcash presented checks of $ 100,000 to each of its charity partners, including the McGrath Foundation, Special Olympics Australia, and the Humpty Dumpty Foundation, to support the important work they do. There was also a raffle held during the evening which raised an additional $ 20,300 for each charity.
