Christeyns is celebrating its 10th anniversary since it first started developing and manufacturing dosing devices to support its range of laundry and hygiene products. In addition to the recently added UK technical unit, the company has a brand new technical facility in Budapest, Hungary [pictured] developing a range of high-tech equipment for many of its markets around the world. With the multifunctional 1,200 m² unit, production for all business areas, including food and beverage, professional hygiene and medicine, can be managed in-house.

At Christeyns UK, a standalone technical unit was added to the Bradford-based company in 2019 to provide a key service hub and support the growth of the engineering division in its commercial laundry customer base in the UK and Ireland.

Christeyns Engineering stands for quality and know-how and has expanded its influence on the laundry sector from year to year. As the largest chemical company in the UK commercial laundry sector and with a growing market share, high-tech engineering systems are now an important part of the customer offering.

The UK technical unit provides support for all Christeyns devices, including Flux-Compact, Flux-Star and Flux-Multi-Dosing Kits, Ozone Generators, Speed O and Christeyn's own water and energy saving devices.

“Engineering is a big part of the laundry business these days,” explains Christeyn's Operations Manager Justin Kerslake. “Advances in technology have resulted in systems that save money and improve efficiency, which is critical for commercial laundries. We have expanded our facilities and team to better serve this side of our business. "

Christeyns UK is part of the international detergent and chemical specialist Christeyns, headquartered in Belgium. Here in the UK, the company employs over 200 people and includes construction chemicals supplier Oscrete as well as Christeyns Food Hygiene, Clover Chemicals and sensitive care specialists Cole & Wilson.
