Waverley Gardens Shopping Center is undergoing a renovation in April 2021 with the launch of its brand new Super Fresh district. Super Fresh is located in the east wing of the center and when construction is completed in October 2021 it will become one of the largest areas for fresh fruit and vegetables in southeast Melbourne.
Belinda Donnelly, director of the Waverley Gardens mall, said Super Fresh will have something for everyone.
“Super Fresh will undoubtedly be an exciting and welcome addition to the center. We are proud of our diverse customer base and this new area offers a wide range of fresh foods for all cultures and backgrounds. We can't wait for the community to experience it for themselves, ”said Ms. Donnelly.
Waverley Gardens Shopping Center is a culturally diverse hub that has become a family destination across the Mulgrave Shire for its rich offerings, community feel and prime location. Super Fresh offers its loyal customers a wide choice. Anchored in world class services and the launch of new stores including Henry's Mercato and Indian and Asian grocers, the new precinct will further underscore the centre's commitment to celebrating multiculturalism, diversity and helping the local community with everyday shopping needs.
Matt Healy, Head of Retail, Development & Mixed Use at Elanor Investors, said, “We are extremely excited to begin Phase 1 of our much anticipated repositioning strategy in Waverley Gardens. Our investment thesis addresses the need to consolidate the centre's offering for a non-discretionary and service-minded good that is anchored by all three major supermarkets (Woolworths, Coles and ALDI). This asset development will strengthen the existing fresh food supply by introducing more daily needs for medical, health and health purposes. "
