The nominations for the TRSA Annual Awards 2021, which will be presented in October at the 108th TRSA Annual Conference in Carlsbad, California, October 19-22, are now open. The competition is open to all operators and supplier partners. TRSA's industry recognition is a time-honored tradition that focuses on the creativity, ingenuity and humanity of affiliates. Multiple companies and individuals can be honored in the same award category, and companies can win in more than one category. Submit entries for one of these awards now at trsa.org/membership/awards.
New for 2021 is the TRSA Video Award, which is given to well-deserved operator and supplier partners. It expands the similar 2020 competition from the Virtual Marketing & Sales Summit to include supplier partners and operators.
Nominations for the following annual awards are possible until July 2nd:
Best plants of the year. The winners show how a local operation improves the ability to deliver, wash and maintain textiles for business customers by leveraging local resources to meet global challenges and implement industry best practices. Successful applications describe how those in charge of these laundries take on challenges in order to become more competitive.
Beyond the service. For exceptional attention to customer needs, either as part of the normal course of business, but perhaps as a one-off effort that was particularly responsive, empathetic, or pleasantly surprising to customers.
Clean green innovation. Sustainability has been improved in one or more ways (resource reduction, drainage control, increased efficiency) or industry best practices have minimized the environmental impact.
Community service of the company. For short or long term commitments, time or professional talent to volunteer or provide assistance to others to bring to light a sense of caring and responsibility for others in the community.
Diversity Recognition. In efforts to appreciate the "inequality" of individuals and to promote or facilitate such differences in human qualities in the workforce, may take steps in relation to diverse talents or intergroup interactions, or otherwise promote inclusivity.
SafeTRSA Safety Excellence. To establish or maintain safety in the workplace as a company value through projects or successes that have produced or reflected safety gains; or ongoing activities that succeed due to the support of top management, employee involvement, training or good communication.
Video Award. TRSA members rate the effectiveness of videos based on how well they serve their intended purpose, be it purely informative, e.g. B. the presentation of a company or its employees or products or services. or technical, where skills, processes or product characteristics are described as training for customers.
Volunteer tour. For people who have been involved in TRSA to improve its success and to help their businesses through participating. Winners' activities may include participation in political action, benchmarking, committees, presentations or certification. or writing, reviewing, or researching for any publication, video, or website.
The winners of last year's (2020) Annual Awards will be honored at the upcoming 11th Dinner of the Legislative Conference & Industry Awards from March 24-25, a hybrid (virtual and personal) event (www.trsa.org/legcon).
