Dempsey doubles with the renewal of the Hygienically Clear certifications

United States of America
Dempsey Uniform and Linen Supply Inc. of Jessup, Pennsylvania recently qualified for the renewal of Hygienically Clean Healthcare and Hygienically Clean Food Service certifications. These certifications reflect Dempsey's consistent commitment to Money Laundering Best Management Practices (BMPs), as verified by on-site inspection, and their ability to produce hygienically clean fabrics as quantified by ongoing microbial testing.

The company's Jessup site also has Hygienically Clean Food Safety certification as well as TRSA Clean Green certification, which recognizes environmental stewardship in commercial laundries.

Originally acquired in 2017, the renewals of Hygienically Clean Healthcare and Hygienically Clean Food Service certifications confirm laundry's continued commitment to infection prevention, adherence to recognized industry standards, and processing of health textiles using BMPs as described in the Quality Assurance Documentation Assessment the inspectors clean hygienically. The independent third party inspection must also confirm material evidence that:

  • The employees are trained and protected accordingly
  • Managers understand the regulatory requirements
  • OSHA compliant
  • The physical facility is working effectively.

"We congratulate Dempsey Uniform and Linen Supply on their continued best practices to earn the Hygienically Clean Healthcare and Hygienically Clean Food Service certifications," said Joseph Ricci, President and CEO of TRSA. "Their performance shows their commitment to infection prevention and that laundry is taking all possible steps to prevent human diseases."
