According to CEO Peter Wennekes, 2019 and 2020 for CINET were marked by an amazing global search to select and bring together the best showcases from around the world for the 2020 Global Best Practices Awards program.
Supported and supported by a growing number of sponsors and members, more than 125 applications were received from around 40 countries. Before Covid-19, five preselections were organized and the winners automatically qualified for the final presentation. Six preselections had to be canceled or were organized virtually.
Practically from Amsterdam
Despite the fact that the GBAP Awards 2020 could not be organized by Texcare International in Frankfurt due to Covid-19, Cinet is extremely pleased to host the event virtually from Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in collaboration with the INTERCLEAN exhibition streaming event organize.
Selection of the finalists
Cinet's international pre-selection jury evaluated all entries and is pleased to announce that this week, 50 companies have been informed that have been invited to a three-minute virtual presentation for an online evaluation session by Cinet's 20-member international jury GBPAP2020 from independent experts around the world on November 4th.
The pitches are divided into three categories:
RTC-A for SME retail companies for textile cleaning,
RTC-B for large retail companies and
ITS – industrial textile service company.
Country winner
The GBPAP20 preselection jury selected the country's winners for the participating countries. These nominees have been informed and will be included in the GBPAP20 awards ceremony on November 5th. Around 40 companies will be rewarded as official GBPAP2020 nominees and receive a certificate.
