With Christmas in just over two months, Woolworths is launching a new line of baked goodies and bringing back a slew of favorites to give the Aussies an early taste of Christmas.
The new line offers summery fruit flavors, "decadent" chocolate and new variants of traditional favorites, including
- Woolworths Blood Orange & Fig Fruit Mince Pies ($ 4.00) – a modern twist on an old classic made with blood orange and fig-flavored ground beef, surrounded by shortcrust pastry.
- Woolworths Butter Sponge Pudding with Raspberry and Plum Sauce ($ 2.50) – offers a rich buttery flavor combined with sweet raspberry and plum sauce.
- Woolworths Fruit and Nut Cake ($ 10.00) – a signature Christmas dessert with the perfect blend of dried fruits and nuts.
- Woolworths Chocolate Fudge ($ 5.00) – a rich and decadent Christmas treat.
Donald Keith, Merchandise Manager, Bakery at Woolworths, said, “As Christmas approaches, customers are starting to think about Christmas and stock up on some of their favorite Christmas treats, especially from our bakery.
"From Woolworths butter biscuit pudding with raspberry and plum sauce to our gluten-free mince pies without gluten, we are confident that there will be something for everyone at the Christmas table.
"But this is just the beginning. In the coming weeks we will be introducing our full range of Christmas products, including a new range of Australian products and ingredients sourced from local Australian suppliers."
Customer favorites returning include puddings, fudges, mince pies, truffles, gold coins, and candy canes.
