Selling your home will never be easy for most of us. Not only will you likely have built years of memories that are difficult to let go, but the market has never been more competitive!

In a recession and period of little interest across the country, thousands of us are trying to sell their homes now to take advantage of it. But aside from just tidying up and making it look fresh, what improvements could you make to add value to your home and make it stand out from the crowd?
Color your viewers impressed
In general, you should look at home renovations that aren't too specific to your own style and are suitable for other people as well. That said, if you have some rooms with bold and divisive colors on the walls, you may want to get the brush out and redecorate in a slightly more general color. Remember that you are not trying to sell them your house, but you are trying to sell them their house.
Take care of the little things
Even if you don't want to spend hundreds and thousands on the house, there are several small home improvement jobs you can do yourself without calling the cavalry. If the faucets are dripping, tighten them, and if the walls and ceiling are dirty, moldy, or covered with torn wallpaper and peeling paint – discard it! Go through your home with a fine tooth comb and think about what you would be looking for if you looked at it. There really isn't a job that is too small!
Underfloor heating
Nothing says more about a “warm and friendly” home than underfloor heating. While it was once a luxury only affordable to the rich, underfloor heating is now enjoyed in thousands of homes across the country and is surprisingly convenient to install. Although it is certainly not something you would want to do without the help of a professional plumber.
Update What N.eeds update
If your windows are still single-glazed and your doors are falling off their hinges, now is probably the right time to have them replaced with more modern alternatives. The same goes for your interior design as well, as if it looked a little dated and had a negative impact on the upkeep of the property.
Don't neglect the garden
The garden is often overlooked by homeowners, but for onlookers, it could be the last link in the chain that seals the deal. We're not saying you have to bring the landscaper in or anything, but make sure the grass is freshly cut, the patios are swept, and there are no overgrown trees or bushes to distract the viewer from your beautiful and desirable home!
