The TRSA report exhibits the business's path to restoration from Covid-19

NORTH AMERICA
The expected effects of the economic changes caused by Covid-19 are described in TRSA's new report "Future Prospects: Challenges and Opportunities for the Linen, Uniform and Facility Services Industries", now available in the TRSA store: www.trsa.org / store. The report shows the changed business environment for the industry and shows strategies for overcoming barriers to growth.

& # 39; Looking Forward & # 39; is designed to assist TRSA in developing membership growth support programs. It deals with the most important operational, legal and personnel issues in the industry and examines opportunities for service innovations, product and market diversification, rebranding and margin expansion.

The effects of Covid-19 are projected on the operational structures, competitive position and revenue potential of companies due to the increased demand for reusable products compared to single-use products and personal protective equipment (PPE). Short- and long-term impacts are intended for food and beverage (restaurant), healthcare (hospitals, outpatient), hospitality (hotel), and industrial / uniform (all other businesses) customers.

The report's conclusions are based on a May survey sent to a diverse group of members (100 industry operators and supplier partners) and the market-driven discussions that included the TRSA Strategic Town Hall in June, a four-hour online discussion of the COVID-19 crisis and ideas for further development.

To advance the growth and recovery goals advocated by the report, TRSA President and CEO Joseph Ricci, CAE expects TRSA to continue its outreach among executives at the federal, state and local levels and continue with trade groups like American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA) and the National Restaurant Association (NRA). TRSA will continue to provide timely and immediate information to its members through education and training, conferences, C-level meetings, calls, regional forums and other forms of dialogue to share ideas.
