HOW TO CLEAN WHITE SHOES

HOW TO CLEAN WHITE SHOES

Clean your kicks with something you use every day.

How one:

  1. Moisten an old toothbrush and apply white toothpaste without gel.
  2. Wet the shoe and scrub it with toothpaste and brush to work off the dirty spots.
  3. This will start the stain removal process.
  4. Prepare the shoes for the washing machine.
  5. Place them in a zippered laundry bag with your regular detergent and half a cup of Twenty Mule Team Borax. Carry out the short cycle with warm water.
  6. When you're done, reshape the shoes and dry them in sunlight. After drying, apply an anti-soiling agent such as Scotchgard for Fabric or a leather protector for leather shoes.

Why it works:

It is a mild abrasive and contains whitening agents

Linda says:

The Twenty Mule Team BORAX is located in grocery stores and large stores in the laundry aisle. When cleaning cloth shoes, treat them with SCOTCH GARD Fabric Protector to repel dirt and make cleaning the shoes easier the next time
