There are endless good things about a food festival and I'm sure I'm not the only one who misses it.
However, from June 18-30, Uber Eats will be hosting your Local Food Fest to celebrate the variety of cuisines across the country, and will open the lid of exotic local restaurants behind some of Australia's most popular dishes.
The Uber Eats app is a boarding pass for 13 days with offers for 13 different and delicious types of cuisine from around the world – everything in your hand.
Day one: a ticket to Tokyo. Japanese cuisine is still very popular across Australia. Ramen ensure that eaters are satisfied all year round. The fun fact is that the total length of all noodles ordered in the Uber Eats app in 2019 was nine times the distance from Sydney to Tokyo.
To start your Local Food Fest, you will receive a 30% discount on your order of USD 20 or more from participating Japanese restaurants (no delivery fee and a maximum of USD 30 off the total value of your order).
Go to the "Promotions" tab in the Uber Eats app and enter the code ‘SUPPORTLOCALJP’ to redeem the offer of the first day.
Additional promotions are offered every day of the campaign, with Uber Eats getting everyone under control. So if you don't want to get on the sushi train, there are a dozen other foodie adventures you can start.
Every morning, look for clues on the dedicated Your Local Food Fest website, where you can also learn more about the chefs and their cuisine.
