ASSEMBLING A COVID19 CARE KIT – As seen on Good Morning Arizona (3TV / Phoenix, AZ) – Monday, June 8, 2020, 9:15 a.m.
Now it's time to put together a Covid19 care set. The disinfectant products are back in stores, so it's a good time to plan ahead. Now I'm not saying buy any hand sanitizer you see and start hoarding toilet paper. I say have a kit ready in case we get a new wave from Covid19.
YOU WILL NEED: A plastic box with a lid, labeled and dated. You can also use a suitably sized box that is sealed, labeled, and dated. Choose a good storage location. Do not keep in the garage. Heat destroys most products.
HERE YOU NEED:
2 – bottles with 3% hydrogen peroxide – If this is used undiluted, the corona virus is killed
2 – bottles with 70% or more isopropyl alcohol – If this is used undiluted, the Cornona virus is killed
1 – gallon of liquid chlorine bleach – diluted bleaching solution (⅓ cup of bleach per 1 gallon of water or 4 teaspoons of bleach per 1 liter of water) kills the Cornona virus.
2 – hand disinfectant – Must have an alcohol content of 70% or more
2 – Disinfectant wipes
Box of masks
Disposable gloves – warehouses are a good source of this
4 – pump hand soap – I also like Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap. It can be diluted in hand soap, dish soap, shampoo, etc.
1 – Large dish soap
2 – disinfectant spray – Lysol, Clorox or the like
laundry detergent
MISCELLANEOUS
Toilet paper – not large quantities – if we don't hoard it, it's available
tissue
Ibuprofen or the like
Cold and cough over the counter medication
thermometer
Games
Books – Children's workbooks are great pjigsaws etc..
