INTERNATIONAL
At the start of the Corona pandemic, CINET created an international open platform for collaboration, research and knowledge to share with the world around members and partners about the new phenomenon.
CINET is also lobbying national associations to ensure that Professional Textile Care (PTC) is recognized as a critical sector in this crisis. Together with renowned PTC experts, CINET quickly developed protocols and recommendations for cleaning textiles in retail (dry cleaning and wet cleaning) and for industrial textile services (commercial laundries and laundry rentals), which are available on CINET's WOPCOM platform. The focus is increasingly on issues that are critical to PTC companies, their customers and the communities in which they operate, such as: B. the hygienic treatment of textiles and safe working conditions.
Sustainability, hygiene and digitalization
At the same time, CINET promotes discussions within the industry on how new opportunities and business models can be developed for new sales with a focus on sustainability, hygiene and digitalization. This was already happening, but the urgency to bring people together to brainstorm about new services, businesses, etc. is really recognized. At www.cinet-online.com you can read an interesting material on how PTC can effectively support the hospitality sector.
CINET webinars
CINET reports that the live sessions of the Coronavirus Referral Webinars have received great response and participation. These sessions continue with new topics based on the feedback received. The CINET Coronavirus protocols and recommendations, the webinars and much more can be found on the WOPCOM platform (cinet-online.com/wopcom). CINET members benefit from free access to WOPCOM. Non-CINET members can choose the subscription option that suits their profile and requirements.
