The TRSA annual convention takes place in October

TRSA will host its 107th annual conference from October 20-22 at the Westin Alexandria in historic downtown Alexandria, Virginia. Old Town Alexandria is the perfect setting for conference attendees and guests to share experiences of relaxation and renewal in this unprecedented world after Covid-19: this historic 18th-century port city, less than 10 miles from Washington, DC, has one Sitting in the front row for every challenge that humans face today.

The expanded, comprehensive agenda of the 107th Annual Conference includes a dozen general and breakout sessions, as well as industry award recognition, including the Lifetime Achievement Awards for operators and supplier partners (associates). The conference begins with meetings of the TRSA committee, in which industry experts from managers to CEOs to owners participate. In addition to committee initiatives, participants in these volunteer-led sessions will also include a 30-minute open discussion on industry-related topics. After lunch, TRSA executives will participate in a workshop led by Eric Kurjan, President of Six Disciplines Consulting, on strategic direction and brainstorming of volunteers in the interactive industry.

Other general meetings include Legislative Update with Kevin Schwalb, Vice President for Government Relations, TRSA; and Textile Services Bottom-Line Performance with Andrew Wittmann, CFA, Director and Senior Research Analyst, Robert W. Baird Facility & Industrial Services Research Team.

TRSA awards member companies' commitments to diversity, safety and community service in addition to the Lifetime Achievement Awards, which are presented annually to a specific operator and an associated (supplier) member whose involvement has an impact on the industry.
