make a citrus cleansing vinegar

How to make a citrus cleaning vinegar

A vinegar and orange oil cleaner for hard surfaces. except wood and natural stone

How one:

  1. Peel oranges, lemons or grapefruit and save the peels. I usually do this when I eat the fruits and keep them in a plastic bag in the fridge.
  2. When you have enough bowls to fill a liter of fruit glass, put the bowls (no fruit) in the glass
  3. Fill the jar to the brim with white vinegar and cover it with the lid
  4. Leave the glass on the counter for about 4 weeks and shake it occasionally.
  5. Strain the trays after 4 weeks.
  6. Dilute half of the citrus solution and half of fresh white vinegar in a labeled spray bottle.
  7. Store the other half of the citrus / vinegar solution in the refrigerator for later use
  8. Use the spray as a detergent for hard surfaces such as sinks, counters, stovetops, etc.
  9. Spray and wipe. I suggest using a microfiber cloth.

Warnings and precautions:

Do NOT use this solution on stone surfaces such as granite, marble, etc. Vinegar can etch these surfaces.

Why it works:

The oil from the fruit peel and the vinegar together result in a safe, natural cleaner

Linda says:

When I strain the bowl from the solution, I put it in the disposal for cleaning, disinfection and refreshment.
