Alexa, let's share a coke

media release

January 29, 2020

Coca-Cola Australia has partnered with Amazon to give up to 2,000 Australians the opportunity to receive a free, personalized cola with their name delivered to their door. As of today, Australians can redeem a free bottle of Coke with the Coke ability on any Alexa-enabled device.

Until February 4, customers can launch the offer by simply saying, "Alexa, let's share a Coke." Once this voice conversation is activated, a text message will be sent to the phone number provided that will take users to the Share a Coke website forwards.

The "Share A Coke with Alexa" campaign is supported by a number of different creative designs that are now running in Australia's digital out-of-home, social media and digital advertising.

Lucie Austin, Marketing Director of Coca-Cola South Pacific, said: “Voice-based lifestyles are becoming increasingly popular with consumers. We are therefore delighted to be working with Amazon on Coca-Cola and building on the success of one of our most successful iconic campaigns, Share A Coke. With this campaign, customers can share a Coke through Alexa in a fun, new and innovative way. "

ANZ Country Manager at Alexa Skills, Kate Burleigh, said: “Coca-Cola continues to innovate on the Share A Coke campaign and has now taken it to the next level by giving customers the option to add a Coke with Alexa divide. We are always looking for new ways to delight our customers, and I expect that if they ask Alexa, they will really love the opportunity to get a free, personalized Coke with their name on them. "

The latest experience follows the announcement of the brand's most diverse and comprehensive Share A Coke campaign to date, with which the Australians had the opportunity to put their name on a Coke bottle in an e-commerce store and in all major cities to activate the country.

The "Share a Coke with Alexa" campaign is available from January 29, 2020 to February 4, 2020. It will be redeemed until the end of the campaign period in February 2020. The full terms and conditions can be found here
